Navigating Melbourne Airport During the Naarm Way Stage 2 Upgrades: Important Information for Our Clients

However, we want to inform you of significant disruptions at Melbourne Airport due to the new upgrades as part of the Naarm Way Stage 2 Project. These upgrades, set to enhance the airport’s infrastructure and facilities, are scheduled to take place from now until February 2026.
Immediate Disruption
From Monday 4 November 2024, the designated chauffeur parking bays have been moved for Terminals 1, 2 & 3, together with construction work and various road closures around Melbourne Airport. These changes will impact traffic flow and potentially cause delays for both drop-offs and pick-ups. We want to keep you fully informed so you can plan your transfers accordingly when booking and avoid any inconvenience.
Recommended Time Adjustments
To help mitigate the impact of these disruptions on your travel plans, we strongly advise all clients to make the following time adjustments:
Airport Drop-Offs: Please allow an extra 30 minutes for your journey to the airport. This additional time will accommodate any unexpected delays due to construction work, road detours, and possible congestion.
Airport Pick-Ups: For pick-up services from the airport, we recommend planning for an extra 20 minutes. This will account for any potential delays in exiting the car park and entering the freeway.
